The Central Wikia is the central hub of the Wikia network. It hosts the home page for Wikia which serves as our "front door", and is a meeting point for all of the Wikia communities. Some help pages and cross-project policy pages are stored on the Central Wikia, along with details of the project.
Central Wikia stores Wikia descriptions and organizes them into hubs and categories to make them easy for readers, editors, and search engines to find.
The forum can be used for cross project announcements, and its talk page for asking for help from the whole Wikia community. The Featured Wikia (generally a different one each month) is chosen on the Central Wikia and given a display box on the Community portal.
Translations of pages on the Central Wikia are welcome. Most translations can happen directly on this wiki.

Among Wikia sites
To link to the Central Wikia from any Wikia site, you can use the syntax [[w:]] or [[wikia:]]. To link to individual Wikia wikis from another Wikia site, you can use [[w:c:wikiname:]] or [[wikia:c:wikiname:]] (this one won't work from the Central Wikia).
From Wikimedia
To link to the Central Wikia from Wikimedia projects, you can use [[CentralWikia:]]. To link to individual Wikia wikis from a Wikimedia project, you can use [[wikia:wikiname]] or [[WikiaSite:wikiname]].
