A global block (also called a RegexBlock after the extension) is one of the tools that staff can use to help with vandalism on Wikia wikis. This feature allows a block on a user name or IP across all Wikia. It also allows the blocking of similar user names, for example all names containing "on wheels".

How do I block a user on all Wikia?

If there is vandalism on your local Wikia, and you feel it is necessary to block the user on all Wikia wikis, then please contact Wikia staff.

This ability is used sparingly and problems on one wiki do not necessarily mean that a user should be blocked on all other Wikia. In general, this is only used for large scale or persistent vandalism over several wikis, or for impersonations.
