Wikia is introducing a selection of New Content Namespaces to help aid a wikis development!
Currently these extensions are enabled on a few select wikis, but they will be more widely available in the near future.

Blogs
Blogs for your wiki!
- User Profiles is a plus, but not required
- Embeddable Comments and ListPages extensions are needed
- Vote extension is highly recommended
Polls
This is a more advanced version of the poll extension already on Wikia.
Quizzes
The Never Ending Quiz.
Images and Video
Includes several new tools:
- Import images
- Import videos
- Image gallery
- Best done with image categorization tool
- Video gallery
- Really needs video importer, otherwise too cumbersome to categorize

- Rate pages

A brief history
- Originated on ArmchairGM.
- Saw their first broader use on Halopedia.
- Being introduced to more gaming and entertainment wikis.
- Will eventually be available upon admin request.
