How do I create a page?Edit

Method 1: Click the "Create a Page" buttonEdit

Method 5: Create a temporary red linkEdit

You can also create a temporary red link on a sandbox page, your user page, or any page at all IF you do not save the edit.

Edit the page, create [[your desired link]] anywhere on the page, and click "Show Preview" instead of "Save Page". Then click the red link displayed in the page preview to go edit your new page -- since you never clicked "Save", your addition to the previous page will be discarded.

Method 6: Use the search formEdit

Searching for a page that does not exist will bring you to the search results page. At the very top of the page, below the "Search results" header, you will see small text that reads:

You searched for search term (all pages starting with "search term" | all pages that link to "search term")

You can click on the red "search term" link to go to the edit box where you can create your new page.

Method 7: Edit the URLEdit

A new page can be created by typing the URL directly, in the form http://NAME.wikia.com/wiki/NEWPAGE, where NAME is the name of the Wikia community and NEWPAGE is the desired title. Use underscores in place of spaces: create "Baked Beans" by typing http://NAME.wikia.com/wiki/Baked_Beans

The easiest way to produce the URL is to edit (in the address bar of your browser) the last part of the URL of another page in the same project, then hit Enter.
