This extension is no longer under development It may still be on specific wikis, but may not be widely available.

Polls (of the new type) are regular wiki pages with some extra stuff added in.

You can visit polls on Special:RandomPoll. Each page is its own question. Answer one question and you'll move on to the next.

Creation

To create a poll, visit Special:CreatePoll.

As you fill in answer options, more boxes become available. The current limit is five options.

You can add images to polls, to make them look cooler.

Abilities

All users

• Any user can edit a poll.

Admins only

• Only admins can delete a poll (as it’s a regular wiki page).
• Admins can “Close” a poll. Closing a poll makes it so the results are displayed but users can no longer vote on it.

Embedding

You can embed a poll on a page with pollembed tags by copying the textbox at the bottom of a poll page.

It will look like <pollembed title="What type of PC do you use to play games?"></pollembed>
