MediaWiki:Tips is used in the "Tips" Widget. It can contain either tips on how to improve the wiki, what policies the wiki has, etc, or it can contain tips pertaining to the topic of the wiki. For example, on the RuneScape wiki, both of these tips would be acceptable:

Remember: Any new pages or templates you create should look acceptable in our default skin, or in any dark-background skin. Try to avoid hard-coded CSS.

Practically all normal wikimarkup will still work correctly. Variables, such as PAGENAME, and tags like includeonly/noinclude, have not been tested. To separate one tip from another, simply hit return twice.
