- This extension is enabled by default on Wikia.
User Tips are short reminders to users or visitors that are shown based on what you're doing. First-time visitors may see a message encouraging them to register. For someone who has visited the site 5 times, we may suggest that they should try to edit a page. Wikia will be testing these messages and measuring the results to see if more people can be encouraged to participate in helping the wiki grow.
In the example below, the User Tip is "Welcome to Help Wikia! Create an account for FREE!"
