I've just added an explanation on why spam is bad for wikis (diff here) - am I on the right lines? It sounds true but I'm just guessing really. totnesmartin 00:11, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, it's more content based: spam is unlikely to be related to relevant to that wiki - essentially vandalism. Kirkburn (talk) 13:57, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
